For 2025, the Whiteside County Farm Bureau Foundation is offering a minimum of $16,500 in scholarships.
  • Scholarships to three Whiteside County high school seniors and two current college students pursuing an agriculture-related degree. The scholarships are valued at $2,500 each.
  • The Foundation is also offering four $1,000 scholarships to students pursuing an agriculture-related degree at a two-year college or technical/trade school.
  • The Farm Bureau Young Leaders will award up to three scholarships valued at a minimum of $500 each.

scholarship qualifications

Qualifications are as follows:
  1. High School Seniors:  Must be a graduating in the spring 2025.
  2. Applicant must be a resident of Whiteside County.
  3. College Students: Full-time student at a college, university or technical school.
  4. Farm Bureau membership is not required to apply. However, a student or parent/guardian with a membership can earn bonus points from judges. Membership must in effect by March 1, 2025, to be considered for any potential bonus points.   5. The Young Leaders scholarship uses the same application as the Foundation but does not require a Whiteside County Farm Bureau membership.
  6. The student must enroll in a field of study pertaining to agriculture on an agriculture-related field.  Remember, in our modern world, several courses of study relate to agriculture in some aspect.​
2025 Scholarship Recipients

​SCHOLARSHIP POLICY: A student's total scholarship awards shall not exceed $5,000 during their academic career. Students can apply for and receive scholarships for more than one academic year.
